When trying to launch VRChat, I sometimes get greeted with the error "Failed to connect to VRChat. Verify connection and try again." I think the websocket server updates for avatar changes are currently paused, but this broke my workflow for reviewing new & recently updated public avatars. I asked around and this issue affects several people. This issue started < 12 hours ago. Launch VRChat. Visit https://vrchat.com/home/avatar/avtr_c38a1615-5bf5-42b4-84eb-a8b6c37cbd11 Click "Change Into Avatar" on VRChat Home. Notice "You have successfully changed avatars!" message on the website. Check in VRChat app. Nothing happens. Your "Current Avatar" indicates your previous avatar. Check your profile on VRChat Home. Your avatar has been changed. Restart VRChat. You'll now be the avatar you chose from VRChat Home. Expected result: Change into the avatar in app a few seconds after clicking Change Into Avatar (step 3). Actual behavior: I have to copy an avatar ID from VRChat Home and go to a dynamic avatar pedestral with an avatar ID input field to change into recently updated public avatars, because Change Into Avatar does nothing for the current client session. I don't see a status update at https://status.vrchat.com/ indicating an issue. 1 I try to conect, doesn't load any world, neither my home or normal vr chat home

There has been a major avatar animator desync issue in large instances (60+ players). It seems quite random with who it affects, some players are not desynced (their animations/toggles/facetracking show just fine) and some players are in their default upload state. To reproduce, join a very large instance and you'll notice several players in their default upload state, by asking around or recognizing friends' default avatar. Players that are on the live build 1865, open-beta, and Unity 6 branch can see other players desynced AND they themselves can be affected by the desync.

Spaces aren't being processed. Tried typing it by hand also but that didn't work either.

This is a way to trigger Panic Mode even though it isn't mentioned in the Release notes here: https://vrchat.net/release or in the recent Developer Update here: https://youtu.be/te1FRAiOMQs This key combination occurs often and causes Panic Mode by accident often too. Since this key combo isn't documented I think it is a bug that should be fixed so it doesn't activate Panic Mode anymore. It usually happens often because you might be holding something and then press escape to open your menu.

I keep falling out of many different worlds when I go through doors since the new update. It seems to be related to not being completely centered in the play area. So, if I'm sitting on my couch I end up spawning that distance difference in game and fall out of the world. This only happens when the new update came out.

Muted/Blocked players randomly get unmuted/unblocked after 5-10 minutes. Issue appeared on the latest update.

As of last major patch (24.04.2018) Performance in instances with large number of users became noticeably worse. It seems that it is not connected to poor avatar optimization in particular instance. After investigating, the framerate is roughly the same in instance with 30 people as in instance with 45+ people in previous patches. STR: 1: Load into instance with at least 30 users 2: Notice framerate issue 3: If possible, compare the framerate with the same users and same amount of people without features added in aforementioned patch

In the Discord server for VRChat the #moderation-reports channel has information about posting moderation posts to the form, but the website doesn't link to it at all. I think it should link to it and talk about it in https://vrchat.net/contact and https://vrchat.net/community under the the section called "How to report violations of the community guidelines." (Also the question called "What to expect when communicating with a VRChat employee" links to a section titled incorrectly. It has the same name as a section 2 sections up) In the form page it says "Pictures / Videos will not be looked into at this present time" even though I would think having proof using media would be preferable so it should make more sense for them to be looked at. In the #moderation-reports channel VRPill says "New guidelines on videos/images posted to moderation reports form - 'Reports will not be responded to. They will be reviewed by the VRChat moderation team. Only unlisted YouTube videos or photos on imgur, tinypic, photobucket, flickr, google photos will be looked at.'" and "Another new guideline for moderation reports - All videos need to be at least 2 minutes and show context for the situation. Also need to show nametags of person reporting clearly." This important information should be part of the description of the form page. People being linked to the form should be able to see this information while they are submitting the form.
