With the new nameplate losing even more real estate for group banners, the difficulty in making a banner that looks good both on nameplates and on the group page has increased significantly.

If the new group banner real estate for nameplates stays as is, I think there should at least be a separate, nameplate specific banner that you can upload, with a clear template during the upload process that shows us a consistent visibility window across all options (min-max nameplate length, menu closed/open, etc)
