A VRChat Calendar can help to better share and organize events with friends, or with users who have joined a group. With a potential calendar feature, community organizers can schedule group events to the calendar, individuals can have the power to make personal notes on the calendar for themselves, or create and post calendar events to share them with friends for events such as birthdays and movie nights. Or users in groups with specific roles can see private group events, such as staff meetings. If looking at a Group in the Group Tab, a new tab (along with Announcements, Gallery, Info, etc.) should be implemented for upcoming group events specifically for the group being viewed.

The events can be customized, or placed on the calendar as a template or genre. These genres could be color-coded, and filtered out on the calendar for easier viewing, but filters and genres would typically be used for events such as:

-Group Main Event / Meeting

-Game Night

-DJ / Music Event

-Casual Hangout

-Friend's Birthdays

-Holiday Parties

If a user sees an upcoming event that they would like to go to, they can click on that scheduled event, and click a button that says "Remind Me!" or "RSVP" which will automatically send a notification 5-10 minutes before the event begins. Users with VRChat installed on mobile Android can receive a push notification to remind them about the event as well.
