If there is anything that people have coming to see over time, especially with controversial updates, lack of haste on things the masses want/need most, and a disconnect in overall priorities. What VRChat staff and certain internal communities/creators want, and what most average or casual users want are not always the same.
What we all need, VRChat more than the rest of us, to improve player satisfaction and user retention, is to have proper large scale feedback data on the current state of the game via periodic surveys.
Surveys should cover general satisfaction metrics, how people feel about recent updates or new features (are they good or do they need improvement, or are they terrible?), the game's running performance and UX, and anticipating questions involving future content which can be used to inform development priority. Genshin Impact is a fair example of surveys of this nature.
VRChat is the largest and most lucrative platform of it's kind, and is the only one that has the environment for experimenting with what can and can't be don, what should and shouldn't be done in a user content generated social landscape, making it extremely valuable information to collect and even market.
These surveys need to be very very present. They should be announced in the discord server, they should be on twitter, on the website, and ideally also ingame. The more people are encouraged to fill them out, the more useful the data will be.
