Toon Standard Emission Mask

A mask for the Emission map, similar to the mask for the detail texture. This would let you tile detailed patterns for where the material should be emissive and freeing up space for the emission map to be used for emission colors. This not only allows for cool details and patterns, but also allows for smaller textures to be used in both slots, which would be more optimized.

I hope we get this soon. The current linked feature in beta right now is not this and doesn't allow for the tiling of emission colors and such. We want emission to have both a color texture and mask. The 4 color recolor mask does not allow for an emission texture to follow a separate mask texture. Hopefully they add it soon so we can do scrolling emission effects

Fax this is not what this post requests. It is not related. We want an emission texture AND mask, not just a mask and color. The regular emission already has a mask and color. Cool feature but not really what this post is asking for. I hope the 'In Progress' marking is for the feature actually requested here and not for the separate linked feature that is in beta right now.

Fax You should mark the post as in progress again and then have the team work on this feature also. Presumably, it wouldn't be that hard? I have no idea about the back-end, but the detail section has separated texture channels for mask and texture. Could the emission just use the detail setup and just be emissive? I might be totally off but like, pls

Fax it could look something like this (img 1, 2, and 3). This would allow for the emission texture to be animated to create scrolling emission effects. It would also allow the emission texture to be tiled and have smaller textures with good detail still.
