Nsfw World Tags
Anxy
People upload nsfw models into vrc all the time even though it is a bannable offense. The sdk has a tag even for nsfw models. I think they should make worlds that are for nsfw, you must enter your age to verify that your over 18, the world would verify that you want to join the nsfw world. Also since it’s a tag in the sdk they could add a system settings that can be toggled to block nsfw models. This would benefit the overall community because people wouldn’t be banned for nsfw for being in worlds unless they are in a world that isn’t marked nsfw (they would have their own place). It will also help people like streamers because it would create a cleaner community so it would be safer to stream. Just an idea me and my friend had.

In short, unless they start doing something like this, they'll never pull the kind of fan base Second Life ever had.

Corvus Dove: I meant to be fair.... does vrchat want 2nd life people? looking back on this idea. I believe it was the wrong way to go. Currently i believe the fan base they should be trying to take is games like Garry's Mod. If they ever get Udon available they could bring the Gmod fan base over... pretty easily.

NSFW content in VRChat is never going to become a thing because that would lead them to getting banned on Twitch.

To stop people from creating whatever they want would seem to go against the spirit of the community. I think the tags should be kept, that way people who create NSFW content, and maybe even creators that are experimenting with NSFW content have somewhere to go, without disrupting the sanctity of, say child, group, streaming, or traditional users.

I can see this being a bit problematic because what if users abuse this and sneak portals in their current worlds to nsfw worlds bypassing age verification. I have already seen portal linking to some questionable worlds, but I dont know

Flutters: I think verification process should to be done when loading into the worlds to prevent this. If you tried to go into a world tagged nsfw and you can't be in those worlds it would redirect you to your home.

Flutters
Jacob Stallings: this is true but some creators can be sneaky and place worlds linking to pg like worlds that can lead to nsfw ones
DJWolf-3
Flutters: It would still be Loading into the world and would just get turned to the Home world
Kitten
Why don't they just make an ID verification process to access NSFW Worlds/Content. It would pretty much that make no underage players get through. Imo would be a great idea, as sticking to private world's for NSFW content is a hassle for lots.

Kitten: VRChat account creation already has an age verification system implemented through the client when first logging in with a steam account and vice-versa, this feature should be expanded upon and further implemented to enforce age-restricted content.
Anxy
Alien Jr.: that’s a great idea!

The NSFW and Gore tags aren't supposed to be there, from the last I heard. Just haven't been removed from the SDK yet
Anxy
PhaxeNor: why get rid of them when we can use them to just block out the models, and keep players in basically separated worlds instead of banning everyone with the models?
PhaxeNor
Anxy: Because those tags are against the current guidelines. Having those tags there actually makes it look like you are allowed as long as you use them.
Anxy
PhaxeNor: the guidelines could be changed, whether the tags are there or not people will still upload nsfw models. This is in my opinion a better way of cleaning up the community besides just banning people.

PhaxeNor: Oi welllll if you upvote this canny here "https://feedback.vrchat.com/feature-requests/p/upload-worldavatar-tags-contributing-to-misconceptions", maybe this can get cleaned up. Finally after how many years? Too many
