Can confirm, been happening for a few weeks now and very annoying. Here's what I've noticed so far:
- One time I tried fixing it by going back to stable and usual beta branch and it was still happening.
- Only seems to happen when opening VRC and loading into the home world, not after.
- The telltale that the loading screen is going to be stuck is that the world sound starts playing right after "Loading" changes to "Connecting", even though there should be no world sounds until the the loading screen is gone.
- The workaround so far is to listen whether world sounds start playing early and keep restarting VRC until it successfully loads.
- Using VRC's home world.
- Only happens in VR, not on desktop (so far with a few samples)
- As a result of this bug I noticed that the VRC framerate is uncapped while SteamVR loading screen is used instead of VRC rendering. I can hear my GPU go fast and GPU loads goes to 100% while the frame rate is way above headset. https://feedback.vrchat.com/bug-reports/p/uncapped-100-gpu-usage-during-connecting-or-joining-screens

Tried joining non-home world with some people in there using VRCX, still getting stuck, and here's what the VRC window was showing. It's like the world is loaded, but never started executing?
