Changing out of SDK test avatar crashes game

About 75% of the time changing out of an SDK test avatar crashes the game. If it doesn't happen the first time, just change back in and out and it will crash the next time. I only noticed this because that old bug has resurfaced where changing from a test avatar to itself doesn't reload any changes to the avatar, and the workaround is to change to another avatar in between. However lately changing into another avatar between has been crashing pretty consistently.
I have tried clearing the cache, no effect.
Steps to reproduce:
- Change into a test avatar
- Change back into a regular avatar
- Game crashes
Not sure but it seems more likely to crash when changing from the test version to the non-test version of the same avatar.
Also noticed that the logs mention finding an SDK2 avatar descriptor right before the crash but these are all SDK3, might be of note?

I can reproduce this crash 100 % of the time with these steps:
- Make sure you have the same avatar both as an uploaded avatar and as a local test avatar.
- Make sure you are wearing this uploaded avatar. Close the game.
- Start the game. Game loads with you wearing the uploaded avatar.
- Open the "avatar details" of the local test avatar.
- Change into the local test avatar from avatar details.
- Open the "avatar details" of the uploaded avatar.
- Change into the uploaded avatar from avatar details. Game crashes.

This seems to happen only under precise conditions, which happen to be the exact workflow used when working on avatars but not when just trying to reproduce the crash (lol)
- Change to test avatar
- Build new version of test avatar while using it
- Change to another avatar - crash

This doesn't seem to be exactly right either. Perhaps it happens when Unity is open at the same time?

I'm experiencing this crash as well. I see some others here talk about switching from the test version of the avatar to the uploaded version causes the crash, but in my case, it happens whenever I
- Am in uploaded avatar X
- Switch to test avatar Y
- Return to uploaded avatar X
it doesn't matter what X or Y are. This used to work fine but now happens 100% of the time. I have tried fully reinstalling the game clearing all caches and settings to no avail.
Strangely, it seems to have started happening after I made a test avatar with "Foot IK" enabled in a Locomotion layer state. I never noticed the crash before doing that, but after doing that it's crashing for any test avatar, not just that one. I have no idea how that could be related though.

I made a canny about this already a while about and tracked down what exactly causes this.
It basically comes down to switching form the uploaded version of the Avatar to the test version and then back to the uploaded version. (all with the same AvatarID)
Btw this also still happens in the latest open beta.
