Switching from a Test Avatar to a normal one causes the game to crash.

If I switch to a local test avatar it works fine but if I switch back from one to a normal avatar the game immediately crashes.

Exactly what the title says. It's really annoying. It's happened numerous times on my most recently uploaded model.

I can reproduce this crash 100 % of the time with these steps:
- Make sure you have the same avatar both as an uploaded avatar and as a local test avatar.
- Make sure you are wearing this uploaded avatar. Close the game.
- Start the game. Game loads with you wearing the uploaded avatar.
- Open the "avatar details" of the local test avatar.
- Change into the local test avatar from avatar details.
- Open the "avatar details" of the uploaded avatar.
- Change into the uploaded avatar from avatar details. Game crashes.

I had this exact issue multiple times.
Happens about every 2nd time I switch from a test avatar to a normal avatar.
It possibly has something to do with creating a new test avatar with the same name and then switch out of the test avatar after it was created.
I have to further investigate.
For me, it is very annoying when work on my avatar.
But looking at the upvotes, it looks like it is a rare issue.

Small Update to my post:
I’ve been playing around with it more and more, and it seems like the game just has an issue with you loading the Avatar you were in before you used the Local Test Avatar. So the Local Test Avatar and the one you used before and after don’t need to have anything in common. You just need to go from your normal Avatar in to a Local Test Avatar and then back in to the Avatar you used before.
Repro Steps:
- Use any normal Uploaded Avatar (remember which one you selected)
- Switch into any Local Test Avatar.
- Switch back to that normal Uploaded Avatar (the one you used before going into the Test Avatar)
- If you do this your game will crash.

I can confirm that when I was testing local avatar, I got a lots of random crash but the same ID could explain it actually.

Unable to reproduce by following these steps:
- Log into VRChat, enter the VRChat Home
- Walk in front of mirror
- Swap from current avatar to local test avatar
- Wait for load
- Swap from local test avatar to a normal avatar
- Wait for load
No crash was observed. Can you provide more detail?

Okay, I found some more things out through more testing. It appears that I only crash when I switch from the uploaded version of the avatar to the local test version and then back to the uploaded one. (All have the same ID attached and use the same model)
So:
- Log in to VRChat, join the home world.
- Switched to uploaded avatar that I also have a local test from.
- Switched to local test avatar.
- Switched back to uploaded avatar.
- Game crashes as soon as the model is loaded.

So, I did even more testing and concluded, if the uploaded version gets loaded at any point and you switch to the local test version and directly back to the uploaded one, the game crashes.
Some other information to it:
You do not need to directly switch from the uploaded version to the local test version it will also happen if you use any other avatar in between. Also switching from the local test version to another avatar that is not the uploaded version will not cause the game to crash. You can even switch to the uploaded version again if you loaded any other avatar in between without crashing. Also switching worlds or rejoining the current one will reset it, so it needs to be loaded again etc.
Btw my upload avatar and the local test build are the exact same avatar, but my friend also got that issue and he just changed out the textures on the local version otherwise they are also the same.
