Avatar and World Menus causing massive download lagspike
complete

After a recent patch which must have changed the way downloading assets works there are immense lag spikes from what I'm assuming is the menu downloading all map and avatar assets from just the selection menu causing downloads ranging from 50mbps to 100mbps depending on network speed of course I'm on a 300mbps plan on ethernet and even I get lag from the sudden accumulation of data in a sense causing a Denial of Service Error or something This is affecting streamers and users who had sub 25mbps plans

Ruuubick - Designer: <3 Yes seems to no longer disconnect when opening menus anymore. Still a bit of stutter when loading images (probs should cache images honestly)

https://feedback.vrchat.com/bug-reports/p/excessive-use-of-tcp-connection-causing-lag-in-menus-and-other-things this is kinda the same but kinda different I was looking and found this weird thing happening

For the past month I have been getting an absolutely unacceptable amount of timeouts. Ontop of that, those timeouts led you to the stuck-in-loading bug as well, which you can only resolve by restarting the game. Honestly I really don't want to restart my game thrice just to look at my avatar or world menu. And to join a friend, only to have to rejoin them again multiple times until the timeouts have stopped. Not only does this occur when opening menus, it also occurs when loading others avatars. Each VRchat session I go through at least 10 disconnects and I am not hyperbolizing.

its so bad that basically have had to resort to avoiding the in game ui as much as possible
instead only using the website or api tools,
Because the actual game ui is unusable without disconnecting

step 1 somehow be a attack chopper

Agreed I only can play in my home world alone otherwise I always time out

After some more testing it appears using a vpn severely increases the effects of this bug and it doesn't completely go away when the vpn is off.

Will this be fixed ?
