I would also like to point out a potentially related regression involving Unity Cloth scaling.
In addition to the avatar-switching issue reported here, there is another reproducible issue where changing the current avatar's height using VRChat's built-in Avatar Height adjustment causes the Cloth mesh to scale incorrectly.
Importantly, this second issue occurs without switching avatars.

A related Cloth scaling issue was previously marked as fixed in the Unity 2022 Open Beta:
Since both issues involve incorrect Cloth scaling, I wonder whether they could share a common problem with Cloth initialization or scale handling after the Unity 6 migration.
The root cause is not confirmed, but I hope these reports can be investigated together.

I can reproduce this issue when switching from a small avatar to a normal-height avatar that uses the Unity Cloth component.
Reproduction steps:
- Switch to a small avatar.
- Switch to a normal-height avatar with a Cloth-based skirt.
- The skirt becomes significantly shorter than its intended length.
Expected behavior:
The Cloth mesh should maintain its correct dimensions regardless of the previously used avatar.
Actual behavior:
The Cloth mesh appears to inherit scaling information from the previously used avatar, causing the skirt to shrink.
Possible regression:
Similar Cloth scaling issues were previously fixed in VRChat 2023.3.2 and 2023.4.2. A related Unity 2022 Open Beta report was also marked Complete in April 2024.
This may be a regression of those previous fixes, potentially related to the Unity 6 upgrade.
I've attached comparison screenshots showing the incorrect and correct skirt lengths.
Could the developers investigate whether the previous Cloth scaling fixes are still functioning correctly?
