Add playerapi property for "has menu open"

This would be very useful for disabling ingame functions while the player's menu is open so that it doesn't interfere with using the menu.

I'm not sure whether this is exactly the same request or not, since this request appears to relate more to VRChat world/game-creation, but this issue at least appears related to https://feedback.vrchat.com/feature-requests/p/1137-add-a-parameter-which-shows-if-the-menu-is-opened ... I believe that the World API can be used to read https://creators.vrchat.com/avatars/animator-parameters/, so I think implementation of 1137 would provide a way to address the problem described by OP.

Opposite. It is conceivable that the creator of Horrorworld could possibly use this property to make the menu inoperable.

It will also allow you to add stuff like a map/menu without checking for every possible input method for opening any of the menus.

PhaxeNor: Seconding this. Separate properties for each menu would be useful, as only the normal menu freezes the player.
The distinction is important if you are dealing with movement mechanics on the player
