Deselecting "Auto-compile on modify" in Project Settings for Udon Sharp has no effect

Following the documentation on the VRChat website, I have disabled
Auto compile on modify
, yet any time I save an UdonSharp script, Unity will refresh and recompile. I'd like to disable auto compile and just have the option to compile manually, but the options in the Project Settings menu seem to have no effect.Log In

Please guys, fix this already. I am heavily coding with multiple C#>U# Codes and getting the compiler to freeze Unity is not pleasant. It is either stopping a habit of pushing ctrl+s non stop (which is not going to work) or making a function, which is toggleable, working properly.
