If a world has a station disabled at start or the station is spawned in, anyone who joins after the user has entered the station, will fail to see the player in the station. This allows multiple people to sit in the station as well as breaks complicated mechanics that reposition players (The Sphere).
Test world:

This world has 3 chairs with all of them rotating. One chair is enabled at start. One chair is disabled at start, but enabled soon after. The last chair is spawned into the world. Only the chair enabled at start will show players properly in the chair, blocking others from also sitting in it and locally "syncing" player's position with the chair and not their actual position using network ik.
For a more "practical" example, see The Sphere. Everyone is placed in a station when they enter the area, but late joiners will not see the effect of the world, breaking the illusion.
