It allows us to make custom loading screens for desktop.

I have been seeing this use creatively so people can have their own "loading screen" animation without delaying players entering their world. I actually want this to stay around.

I would like for this quirk to be kept. It's been used well in the past for cool intro screens.

Please consider keeping this. A good amount of people have been making use of this for over a year for custom loading screens.
