[Unity 6] Sylvarium Experiences Catastrophic Frame Loss

If you travel to the world "Sylvarium" on the Unity 6 build, very shortly after initialising, you'll start to experience catastrophic frame loss, making your experience basically a slide show.

Joining on desktop, the fps starts out normal 60 for a few seconds, then starts steadily dropping down to around 20. Performance overlay shows the CPU frame time go up a little and GPU frame time go up a lot.
