One feature of toon shaders I typically love is how customizable lighting can be. That being said, Toon Standard does a mostly great job, but I feel lacks a little in the specularity department. Specular highlights look a little more dull compared to other shader, and I think two options could go a long way to help.
  1. A slider for
    highlight
    intensity. Right now you can adjust the reflectance value and that changes the intensity of highlights and reflections across the avatar, but it can also start to wash out the colors of matte areas a bit as well.
  2. A specularity tint option. Right now the specular highlights and reflections are based solely on the world’s lighting. It would be very nice to be able to tint the highlights and reflections to make things look a little more toony. For example, a red character could have orange or purple tinted highlights.
