As part of the recently introduced Item system, there stems the possibility of future items, whether VRChat made or not, containing cameras.
Similar to the VRC Camera,
cameras rendering networked players
on any item
should present themselves as a lens,
identical to how the lens on the VRC Camera currently presents itself,
regardless of item visibility,
to maintain user privacy and safety when items are in use.
