The new item system is cool however having items as a whole be only 'all on' or 'all off' isn't as useful for instance moderators or world devs.
For example, as a club moderator, I may want and encourage attendees to use items like the Pride wand that may come in the future such as glow sticks, poi, drinks glasses/bottles, and other hand-held items that are sutible for a nightclub event and de-spawn when dropped.
As a world dev, I might not mind 'droppable' props as along as they are not in a designated shared social space like a main dance floor where they'd take up space, things that behave similar to the Reference Cube.
Event moderators and/or world devs need to be able to have options to selectively limit avatar spawning based on behaviours the prop makes use of.
Prop's would maybe need some kind of 'manifest' (similar to how phone apps request specific privacy permissions of your device) that, if a behaviour is enabled, whitelisted those related udon functions or components and if the behaviour is not enabled, those function calls fail and the prop 'crashes' and despawns.
Mods could then use instance control UI or world devs a component that defines a zone, to say what kind of item behaviours are permitted.
