I'm seeing some cases of online users reporting as offline, preventing me from requesting on them. This user in the screen shot for example just left my instance, and was previously shown as online, but now no longer is. I've double-checked too and they are still actually online as of this post.

whenever in the big main menu users that are offline still have their status shown as whatever it last was. EX: Ask me (orange) DND (red)

Okay, I think I figured out the cause for this. It seems like it's most likely to occur for users you were previously in an instance together with in a single VRChat session, but then they go into a private instance either by changing their status to 🟠 or 🔴 after leaving or just going to a private-type instance in general.
~~Steps to Reproduce~~
- Have User A and User B together in the same VRChat instance.
- User B leaves the instance.
- User B immediately does oneof the following:
- Changes their status to
Ask Me (Orange)
or Do Not Disturb (Red)
, or
- Joins any instance that'll be shown as "in a private instance" to User A (Invite Only, Invite Plus, etc.).
- Observe User B's status in the social menu and check if Offlinedisplays in their status. If it is the case, theRequest Invitebutton should also be gone.

I'm not sure this is open beta related. API bugs out from time to time like this and did last night. I was in an instance with some friends last night prior to the beta push. Two were "black/offline" status and one was green.
