[1480] Fingers Curl Backwards
available in future release
Vulcure
A user using a Quest 2 had their fingers curled backwards on their avatars. They couldn't see it on their end. Remote players could see the bug. Gestures didn't work remotely either. The bug persisted when they swapped avatars, and it was fixed after they toggled gestures off and back on.

I also encountered this problem and tried restarting the computer, switching to the beta version, re pairing the device, and reinstalling the program, but none of them solved the problem.
Do you have any good suggestions now?

The issue has been resolved. If you are a Pimax user, you can try reinstalling the Pimax software to solve the problem

[1481] Live users appear to see the hands of open beta users facing the opposite way
のむらす
The reproduction step is simply to see the hands of the open beta users from the live build.
Detailed Description
As shown in the image, the open beta user's hand is rotated to the opposite side as seen from the live user.

Fingers over-curl when using new tracking with Index controllers.

On the open beta, avatars with previously functioning finger joint setups now have fingers bent sideways when the hand is open and when fully closed, finger tips (claws, etc) push through the palm due to over extension of the joints.
Backwards compatibility with existing avatar hand configurations need to be maintained.
Affects multiple avatars but can be easily seen with: https://vrchat.com/home/avatar/avtr_695a0203-dbeb-49ee-832b-16f55002a229

All my avatars, which are a loooooot, have bent fingers sideways, it looks really bad, i hope they're working on a fix for index users, because on the live version its literally perfect.

Same here. Quest 2 via Steam Link. I tried earlier with ALVR and Finger Tracking and it worked fine as long as i emulated index controllers or used Finger Tracking. When i switched back to Steam Link my fingers were curled back for others.

As a quest user with steamvr, if you are using the beta, you can temporarily fix this issue by disabling gestures in the action menu > settings > avatar. If you are using steamVR, the steam hand poses will take over your avatars animations, and remote users will be able to see the steam hand poses, if you turn gestures back on, your hands will freeze as they were when you turned it on, and only you will be able to see your hand gestures again.
This is my experience, at least.

It's doing that on live with index headset when the controller is turn off. Remote view only.
If it's not happening, an avatar reload will show the issue.
