Client freezes get progressively longer until client begins not responding

As title says. The client freeze seems to occur specifically when opening/interacting with the Main Menu. The longer you are in VRChat the more likely it is to occur.
Reproduction is not consistent, but I seem to make it happen after:
- Having the client open for at least 5-10 mins, doing normal actions like browing worlds, inventory, joining worlds, switching avatars, etc.
- Keeping the client idle & tabbed out for a couple of minutes
- Open Main Menu (opening the inventory tab seems to make it freeze the longest.)
- Client freeze
It seems to be related to TextureManagement, as when I come back from the freeze the log has 184 errors of "[TextureManagement] Over cache size but failed to find any textures to remove"

_tau_This probably hasn't been fixed yet - does this mean it will be included in the next release?

narazaka: The issue reported here was fixed in the last build. You may be seeing https://feedback.vrchat.com/open-beta/p/1783-opening-profile-in-big-menu-can-cause-client-freezes-and-crashes, which will be fixed in the next build.
Are you seeing symptoms described here but not in the canny I linked that would warrant keeping this one open?

Possibly related?: I have 2,885 friends, and I believe around 500 of them were online when this issue occurred.

When I switched back to live, this issue completely disappeared.

I don't know if it's related to this specifically, but I have been getting brief 2-3s freezes every several minutes. Menu doesn't need to be open for me.
I haven't switched back to live to verify this is an open beta issue, but I haven't seen freezing anywhere else.
edit: Possibly PEBCAK; I left profiling on, though it has frozen for me once since fixing that.

I haven't experienced client freezes myself, but I have encountered several instances where, while opening the main menu and selecting an avatar, I fall through the world's floor.
Although the symptoms differ, the conditions and situations under which they occur are very similar, leading me to suspect there may be some kind of issue with the main menu.

During this freeze, the PC's resources were barely being consumed (no CPU, GPU core, or VRAM were under any significant load)

I initially thought this was just my system's peculiarities.
The freezing always occurs when interacting with the main menu (this includes not only clicks but also moving the menu around).
While the timing is random, with each subsequent freeze, the interval between freezes decreases, and the duration of each freeze increases exponentially.
