[936] Video players syncing broken

Behavior on live version (933): Enter a youtube link, everyone sees the video play.
Behavior on open beta (936): Enter a youtube link, you see the video play but nobody else does.
This happens on both types of video players.

Fixed in 944, which is now released.
Please note that this bug appears to have been fixed by some other changes we've made, so it is possible it is still present-- however, we were unable to reproduce the issue after other fixes went it. It is likely that it was caused by the same issue as other bugs.
