[1878] Keep the yellow names for friends in ui/nameplates

Just quite simple, can we have the yellow text for names still in primarily the nameplate? usually i look for yellow names when finding where my friends are if they are nearby in a world. the current yellow border is harder to see, especially if someone is talking. I think having yellow names with the yellow border could be good though

Remove the Yellow border! there is a reason i did set the UI Opacity to 0%! because i don't want to see the Plate background at all! Yellow Name and no Outline as simple as that.

There are so many accessibility issues with this UI update. The fonts are hard to read and smaller.

Agreed!! The yellow names should stay. I had such a hard time seeing users with the new layout with just an outline i swapped back to live for the first time in ages..especially with my crap eye sight and colorblindness, not fun at all.
Personally i think the UI update shouldn't happen at all! The current UI is perfectly fine, there is 0 need for the change.

As someone who already finds text hard to read on my headset, the yellow nameplates and mutual icons from across a map were a lifesaver - especially as a staff member for various communities. Please don't remove this...

I second this, yellow names should return. The old nameplates should return as a whole, VRChat has a whole list of other things that need addressing over nameplates that were perfectly functional. The alteration is so big that I no longer feel like I'm in VRChat. Bad, bad change. Horrible.

I would personally prefer if they got rid of the yellow border, it looks too similar to someone just speaking imo.
Yellow Text should be enough for the normal nameplate, as well as the yellow friend icon they used to have for icon only mode.

The new menu layout, particularly the name text color changes as well as the name plate text colors makes it difficult to see friends in a world and in the hand menu.
Please return the name texts of friends back to a decernable color different from just white.
