I encountered a weird bug where the companion of another user was stuck in the state which makes it say that it only works on the Open Beta despite I and the other user both being on the Open Beta at the time. Their bugged cube was colored in the same color as my personal companion, but after putting their cube away and pulling it back out again it regained normal functionality and was colored their correct color.

These are the steps that I think likely resulted in the bug, but I did not have time to test this to confirm.
