Received the new Input 2.0 beta update two days ago. Launched into VRChat with my HP Reverb G2 V2 to find that my HP Motion Controllers were completely unusable.
Some buttons acted like they were pressing 2 or 3 buttons at the same time.
Most alarming thing was that pressing no buttons on the controllers would default my hands to an open position, which essentially made me feel like VRC thought I was constantly holding down a button when I wasn't.
Received some tips from the official VRC discord beta channel.
I had custom controller bindings set (basically just the official default bindings + an extra 2 buttons bound for playspace mover). Opening up the Steam VR controller bindings showed that these were still 'legacy bindings'.
Okay, no problem, swapped over to the VRChat Default Bindings for HP Motion Controllers. Cool, it shows these are the new Input 2.0 bindings. Wait. There are no keys bound, the bindings are completely empty..
Alright, I can just take 10-15 minutes and make my own bindings using this as a template.
Oh, wait, no matter what action I bind to any button, none of my controls work. Neither do my joysticks so I can't move or look around.
Great, back to release.
I seriously hope this gets addressed before the current beta moves into release, if it doesn't then my headset is useless. Any other HP Reverb users out there need to speak up before beta moves into release.
