[1511] Camera lens roll no longer snaps to the horizon in flying mode
available in future release
Shaun
In previous versions, turning on flying mode would lock the roll of the camera lens to the horizon. In the latest beta, the lens now rolls to match how you're holding the camera. This makes it very difficult to take level photos/videos
Enabling the auto-level behavior helps, but that locks the pitch as well as the roll. I still want to be able to pitch the camera up and down, just not have it roll to the side.
This could be fixed by either restoring the old roll-snapping of flying mode (maybe in 90° increments so it works with portrait orientation), or changing the auto-level behavior to only lock roll instead of locking roll and pitch.

This seems to have been fixed in the current beta, with the addition of the new level feature

I'm not sure to understand everything but;
-While in flying mode- it is hard to use the camera because it is not snapped to the horizon
What I think would be easier :
> Make a toggle to remove camera orientation (on by default ?)
Because, right now, in the 1511 beta, it is way harder for me to take pictures I wanted. Every of my pictures are oriented in a way I really don't like.
I had to go back to live version to take pictures.

[1511] Inconsistent Camera Angle & Settings while laying down
Laxy
- Lay down on your back
- Bring up the (stream) camera and place it in front of you
- Notice that the settings buttons might be inverted or sideways depending on the camera angle
- Use Flying mode, fly around while also tiltilng your camera, flying the camera is inconsistent, it keeps rotating the angle, it also depends on your head position?
I've recorded a video, because today i decided to stream while using the beta, and it's been painful to control the camera while laying down.
Keyword is laying down while looking straight up, to my ceiling, cam goes crazy and is unflyable.
So i'm taking a guess that the camera goes into portrait mode... automatically? depending on the angle? this is not a good idea, add an option to not make it happen automatically.

This canny explains it much better:

I think this is 100% related to the canny i added last night, but i kept thinking it was because of me laying down, which is related to the angle of the camera, yes
I think this should be changed asap before going live
