[1342] Avatar scale
complete
Nekosan
Avatars that are "originally" small sized, appear much too big. The selection highlight does display the corresponding original avatar size, an, the nameplate, and chatbox don't appear in the right place.
In my case, small avatar appeared much too big for others, but not when I'm wearing it myself, and the nameplate and chatbox appeared at "legs" level.
When I forcibly hide their avatars (gray robot), they appeared to the right size.
The same avatar that was cloned and worn "for the first time" by another person reproduced the same error.
World was Nier automata flowers,
avatars was Kittysan fennec and Kittysan fennec dark.

Chatbox stuck in head after scaling
shiro³
When you scale your avatar in vrchat above the avatar's default height, chatbox appears inside your head for remote users. Making it practically unusable.

I found that this issue infects live client versions if it is a beta user that experiences the issue. What I mean is when the beta user's avatar is failing to register the scale properly, the live client users will see them bugged out and not the correct scale.
Friend on the live release saw my avatar was partially in the ground or even standing at avatar default height instead of the size i set it to.

[1344] avatar scaling not working.
TummyTime
Not possible to scale some avatars in the beta. They are stuck in what size they were in before loading in. Resetting the avatar doesn't set it to it's original size. Scaling shows them changing size in the preview mirror. But snaps back to the size you started as.
People that aren't on the beta are able to scale their avatar. But it stays the original size on the beta side. Players not in the beta see them scaling as they should. As described in this one: https://feedback.vrchat.com/open-beta/p/1342-avatar-scale If you hide their avatar they go to a properly sized robot.
Here is two avatars I've found the problem on.

Here is a video showing the problem. Notice the avatar on the left that is half way into the ground. That one should be more like 40cm in size.

[1344] Wrong Scale and Avatar Y Offset
Hackebein
She is Touching my hands in her view.
It seems like her avatar is on remote view "lifted". At the end you can see where she lays down that her Nametag is not above her head. Her nametag ist attached to her hip. The Avatar seem to be offset on remote or so?
She is on live. I'm on open beta. It's limited to this Avatar (avtr_da48291d-0c64-4af6-9d13-1709a9b396bd) so far.
I doesn't happen while we are both on live.
We haven't tested it while we are both using open beta.
Her eyehight is set to 0.96m. She is 0.96m when I copy her eye hight while unsing live. She is 1.35m when I copy her eye hight while using open beta.
