[1137] Opening QM no longer turns off FBT when trackers are disabled
complete
Salbug
Repro steps:
1.) Put on FBT and calibrate
2.) Now take off trackers and turn them all off
3.) Put headset on and open your QM
Expected result: When you open your QM after turning your trackers off, observe as your pretzeled avatar reloads back in 3 pt tracking. (This works on Live.)
Actual result: Nothing happens, avatar remains mangled.
Just as a note though, when you change your avatar or reload another way, everything works as intended.

Yeah so I think I figured out why this happens and how to get it to happen consistently. If I happen to open the steamvr menu (like when I accidently press the button on my HMD when putting it back on) before pressing the QM button to reload into 3 pt tracking, that's what causes it to not work. This doesn't happen on Live I believe.

Looks like it appears to be working now. Seems I ran into a one-off instance of it not working correctly. 🤔
EDIT: Nvm, encountered the issue again earlier this morning. Not sure what else I did to have caused it. For reference, I removed my trackers as soon as I returned to my home instance.

I really disliked that feature so I hope it stays this way tbh.

Sometimes i actually hate that behavior. In some cases when nicely laying down its desirable to be stuck in that pose instead.
Would work way better with the requested native option to force fbt off instead of getting surprize avatar changes upon opening QM

Dj Lukis․LT: I agree with this, I'll often want to stay in that locked pose but it'll go away once I open the menu. I think a better option than forcing you into 3-point tracking might be to have it remain in the locked pose until you click the recalibrate button in the quick menu or something similar.
