Although my previous canny was closed as completed, I'm still seeing huge frame drops when the social menu is open (90 fps -> under 20 fps on desktop) on 1002. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MMtN29kEkM

This video was recorded with --enable-debug-gui, but I see the same issue (FPS dropping from 90 to ~15) without --enable-debug-gui.
