The microphone button has different tooltips depending on the mode and the state of the microphone. However, the tooltips use inconsistent terms to refer to the microphone, such as:
  • Microphone
    in Always On/Off mode.
  • Audio input device
    in Toggle mode.
  • To talk
    in Push-to-talk mode.
Moreover, the tooltips in Always On/Off mode are not working properly. They seem to display the
key name
instead of the actual text message, resulting in an extra ‘Tooltip/’ prefix and no translation applied.
I suggest
fixing
the tooltips in Always On/Off mode and using a
single term for all the tooltips
.
I recommend using the term
microphone
, as it is consistent with the rest of the UI, except for the device selection menu.

Audio input device
as tech detail in device selection menu.
