Currently both "block" and "hide" verbiage is used to describe a disabled user avatar (turned into a gray robot).
This:
  • Is inconsistent.
  • Causes confusion with another feature - the "blocking" of an actual user themselves. One might think a "Blocked" avatar state in a user nameplate might be related to the actual user being "blocked" (see the middle of the screenshot).
  • Causes confusion because there's a few actions described as "hidding" an avatar, that result in that "blocked" nameplate. (1st part of the screenshot). This makes it harder to corelate the result to the action/setting.
In my opinion the use of "block" verbiage in the context of an avatar should be avoided. At least especially in the nameplate, where there's not much more context what the word is actually tied to (the avatar or the user).
Suggested actions
a) Change string (106630) used on the nameplate - "Blocked" - to "Hidden".
