Something I ran into testing the iOS Beta with my friend was the description of my voice sounding “really quiet.” Now I don’t know if it’s due to my phone microphone being bad but I did have issues first playing with the Beta and trying to speak, sometimes my voice wouldn’t even be recognized, and after relaunching the app everything seemed to be fixed, and it could be because of how voice isolation/noise suppression is working with the iOS iPhone? I’m not entirely sure but I do notice that making quick noises near the microphone that aren’t my voice don’t get picked up in game, but it’s sometimes even my own voice, and I’ve also noticed that compared to other VRChat device version builds, iOS doesn’t have the noise suppression button in the volume settings tab anywhere, and seeing other posts, I don’t think anyone’s mentioned this yet. I even tried checking the iOS control center as when using microphones, there’s sometimes the option to change how it works with “voice isolation” and “wide spectrum,” but it wasn’t shown anywhere despite iOS recognizing VRChat using the microphone.
