World ranking system

It would be great to have a thumbs up, thumbs down system for worlds. A five star ranking system. Lately a lot of unfinished worlds have leaked into the game and more often than not with my friends I find myself checking out like 4 different worlds before we find something we like. It's a huge waste of time. It would be great to have the ability to rank worlds, having a top rated tab. So that way we can filter out maps that are low quality. A plus would be being able to write a review for a world as well.

It would be nice to know the progress on this, specially now that world duplicates and AI generated content are so widespread. I believe some sort of user approval ratio with a visible percentage would be good enough, although the classic 5 star or 0 out of 10 system would work too.
I also suggest adding a "last visited" timestamp on the JSON, so that you could easily tell if you have been on a map already (if it's visible with a small icon on world search it would be even more useful).
I think it would be nice to hear some developer comments about this and its status.

This would be great

This would be so useful these days, when AI-slop worlds are flooding VRChat...

I think more ways to sus out a world besides the thumbnail and text would be helpful, but the solution should be considered carefully as some things open up new avenues for abuse. I know vrchat is aware of review bombing, after what happened when they implemented EAC. Let's not let that kind of thing be something our creators have to stress over.
edit: I had a random idea so I wanted to append to this comment.
what if
a world rating/review/experience indicator was prompted after a user spent x amount of time in the world. This could be a solution to review spamming, since it would at least make it difficult and annoying to do so. Perhaps it could be some kind of button that's enabled on the world details page after some kind of engagement threshold is reached, such as time spent.copis
PLEASE THIS WOULD BE AWESOME

This would help group/event organizers pick better performing worlds for their events. Right now it's more first hand experience of certain worlds that group/event runners will learn over time, but if we are "pressuring creators to optimize" then we should apply this aspect to worlds to. I agree.

Could do without the thumbs down aspect of this. Just leave it to likes, even though it'd be very bottable.

bug_ I'm very concerned about how easy it would be to bot/exploit this especially given how there are extremely easy visitor count exploits that are still unmitigated after 2 years.

Steam-Like Reviews for Worlds
Chdata
Allow us to leave a text review for worlds we have visited.
This will be useful for both world creators, and anyone looking for worlds to visit.
Steam has already cracked the code for this, you could literally do what they do for game reviews.
- Rate as "Would recommend" or "Would not recommend"
- A text post giving our feedback why
- Public rating (such as "Overwhelmingly Positive")
- Recent Reviews Rating vs All-Time Review Rating
And because someone will say "I don't want to deal with reviews on my world"
- An option to disable and hide all reviews as a world creator

Add In-Game ability to Review/Tag Worlds
KingPugCat
I'm a world hopper and I would love the ability to review the worlds I'm in (Maybe a 3 star system for Avoid, Good, Great). This would help me keep track as I go and suggest new worlds for my friends to try.
The review system could be private for now to avoid review abuse.
Also another thing to note, a personal tag system for the reviews would also help, for example:
"Solo"
"Duo"
"Small Group (3-5)"
"Large Group(7+)"
"Relaxation"
"Activity/Adventure"
"Game"
This way I can easily pull up world lists when the right amount of people show up.
