It would be great to have a wedding system in VRChat. This feature could enhance social interactions in the platform.

Proposed System:
  • When selecting another user, there could be an option to propose marriage.
  • The selected user would receive a consent request. Only if accepted, users can finalize the marriage.
  • To confirm the marriage, the proposing user need to pay a fee (e.g., 500 VRChat credits).
  • Once confirmed, both users would receive a “ring badge” visible on their profiles.
  • When someone hovers their laser/cursor over a ring badge, it would display the name of the player they are married to.
Optionally, support for multiple partners could be added, by displaying the names of all partners. If a user chooses to divorce, they can end the marriage, and both users will lose their ring badge.
Bonus : It could also be super cool to have an Udon event to track if a wedding happen in our worlds to enable some effects
