It'd be nice for there to be some data persistence mechanism made available by VRChat, for the purpose of storing a small amount of data per user per world. This way a world could save state information for individual users (like say, how many credits you've earned in the video game world, which items you've unlocked, etc).
Players should have the ability to manage what data that is linked to their account that is being persisted (that is, they can delete data associated with themselves with a world). Especially if the max data limit (because data storage isn't infinite) forces players to delete data, it's better for them to chose to lose data from worlds they don't care about, instead of randomly deciding to delete data including worlds they do care about.
I wouldn't expect storage use to be a big concern, as I'd think a normal usecase for a world persisting data for a player should be handful of integers, floats, booleans, and maybe a few strings. A couple of kilobytes at best.
