discussing the plans of future safety systems on your platform, its been real quiet for the past 5 months, you promised changes to be made in the first half of 2026, so i patiently waited, and we're 5 months into the year now and there seems to be no real changes on safety features, i'm just wondering if this is still planned and why its taking so long?

the prints can detect nsfw and stop from uploading, why cant you do that with other stuff like avatars?, either make the game 18+ or limit what people can do, accounts should default to under 18 until verified and auto hide nsfw stuff. avatars tagged with suggestive content should not been seen by accounts not age verified!! it would take you like 10mins to make these changes!!

Cheeto_Puffz omg this, if it's a game that allows 13+ users there should def be parental features. Especially flagging for explicit avatars so that only 18+ players can see them.

Get a grip, VRC!!! Keep these kids SAFE! I was groomed and manipulated by adults in the past and it takes SO much innocence away, for the love of god PLEASE double down and do your jobs as a company and game!!!
Its such a wonderful way to connect, but there's no monitoring on these poor kids! As another person commented, make a DIFFERENT platform pushed towards kids instead of letting them come to VR Chat.

As someone who plays pretty much daily since 2023 stay true to your word and make the platform safer!
With rec room now being gone so many kids are going to be flocking to vrchat as their new platform (rec room worlds are already being made for them) and they are not going to be safe. Make vrchat an 18+ platform and build a new game as a rec room alternative.

Been on this platform since 2021 and continue to be disappointed with the lack of child safety measures and the sheer amount of predation on the platform. VRChat needs to decide if it wants to be 100% child friendly or be an adult only game at this point. If they are too incompetent to handle the “for all ages” demographic as they have displayed time and time again, they need to get it together.

WubTheCaptain The comment above isn't talking about an individual case... It's talking about the sheer lack of safety features regarding children on the platform. Besides, the VRChat team time and time again does not go through with reports on predatory individuals. Ever wonder why there's so many videos on vrc predators? They think they're safe because nobody on the team does anything to stop them. I don't mean to argue, I'm just stating my mind.
