With the massive increase in both avatars and worlds, it would be nice to have some guidelines or constraints to prevent unintentional layer interactions. Left unchecked, this problem will only only get worse as more and more avatars and worlds are created with unbounded layer access.
This is primarily applicable to colliders, particles, and cameras, but may have other uses elsewhere.
Notes:
  • Layer 10 appears to hold the collider attached to the local player
  • Layer 12 appears to hold the colliders for the UI
  • Layers 13 and 17 held the colliders for the pickup objects in the OldHub.
