Toggle In Camera For Avatars Eyes To Follow Camera Lens

See the attached photos for comparisons. The eyes following the lens allows for a more realistic camera experience. Having it as a toggle in the camera settings will help when taking candid photos of people, so they ignore the camera. But toggling it on will allow everyone to look at the camera, just like a real photo.

I would also like an option to just disable the fake gaze/looking effect too, but this is a good idea as well.

gonna bump this, people have been asking for it for years. it can't possibly be that hard to locally redirect the lookat component to lookat the camera, when a button on the camera is pressed for it. (or a menu button)

It would also be nice to be able to force the eyes to look away too, even though it would be less commonly used it would be good for some pictures where you want to look like you're looking at something else.

Eyes to track to camera!

Option for people to always look at the camera with no blinking to allow for the perfect photo instead of users staring off into space! This is been quite a popular request within the discord!

This feature is long overdue, let's get this added!

I am pretty sure there are shaders available for that so that your eyes are always looking at the camera. But I agree that VRChat should add it as a native feature.

ʙɪɢ․: that one is over a year old a newer one will be at the top of the pile

Pinky Nardo: Age doesn't really affect canny posts that much. Older ones with the most upvotes take priority and newer ones get merged into them by moderators to avoid confusion about which one people should upvote

Desperate for this, and came here to request it-- waiting for my eyelook to just happen to look at the camera is miserable and takes forever. Make it a local setting if possible, no reason for it to be a global thing.

Upvoting this, specifically came here to request this. I do video recordings and I have to wait for my avatar to decide to randomly look in the direction of the camera. This gets more and more important the bigger your eyes get.
If the toggle could have a sort of Snap to Camera range that would be great too. But I suspect a simple button is much easier to implement with the current system. For videos it can be good to have the eyes go off camera a bit every now and then. But having the main focus become the camera would be a huge help.
