i feel like if would be a possibly feature to add on quest 3 but probably still be super laggy and low fps or low quality with how fast the assess speeds needs to; if they would write the cameras texture buffer / asset right to a socket and streamed it over adb (or a virtual camera??).

(((tho its also pretty easy to use a second account even on a cruddier computer to stream you playing on a quest if you stay in one room... idk if you could easily track other players with it, it would seem like a weird feature to have, never played around with it too much)))

Suprisingly, in the apps settings through the quest setting menu, they have a virtual camera option! If the can somehow make a virual camera, this could work!

Where would the stream camera stream to? On PC, your PC monitor just shows the stream camera view while still sending the first person perspective to the connected headset. This operation also presumably takes up alot of ram, something the quest platform struggles with.

Maybe it could stream to a phone app? And maybe this app could offload some of the stress of the ram from the quest headset. But I don't know the logistics of programming that, if it's even possible.

Another option would be to stream to a streaming application on a computer, but that just defeats the purpose of not needing a PC.

Quest streaming camera would be very cool, but the game struggles to run on quest 2 with the browser playing music in the background, how is it going to manage two different video streams? Ram is already so limited for the quest hardware.
