Stability Mode: A Lag Fix button
Dakiny
It currently takes four clicks to reach Avatar Settings, then you must manually:
Set Block Poorly Optimized Avatars to Poor and Below.
Adjust Maximum Download Size and Maximum Uncompressed Size (this could be a slider).
Enable Avatar Culling, configure Hide Avatars Beyond Distance, set Maximum Shown Avatars, and check Always Show Friend Avatars.
Go to Avatar Download Prioritization to enable Prioritize by Distance, Prioritize Manually Shown, and Prioritize Friends.
Open Audio and Voice, toggle Earmuff Mode, and set a range.
All this is necessary to stabilize rendering in crowded worlds, but it’s tedious. especially when lag or crashes prevent menu access where you can't do anything. Then when you're done you need to re-do the steps to tweak things.
Proposal:
Add a Quick Preset Button beside Safe Mode.
Call it "Lag Fix" or so.
Include a Performance Preset that automatically reduces all demanding settings, caps avatar visibility and prioritizes stability, enforces optimization limits, enables culling, and prioritizes essential rendering so users can recover performance instantly but does not effect voice.
