Scene Descriptor layermask for avatar particle collision

I have invisible walls, and avatar particles collide with them! I want a way to exclude Unity layers and user layers from particle collision (ie: excluding Ignore Raycast from avatar particle collisions)
bullets, arrows, lasers, and other projectiles hit and bounce incorrectly off of my invisible walls, and I wish for a way to fix that using some sort of layer mask shenanigans.
I'm gonna be 100% real with all of you, I don't even know if this is possible on VRChat's end, but I'd love to at least try.
