Please give an option to automatically "grey-man" avatars above a certain performance threshold as an option.
For example, I would love to be able to disable all avatars (except friends, IF I choose.) for example above "good" or "medium" rating. This could be something we can toggle. I feel it would be extremely helpful to not only encourage users to have more optimized avatars handy for large gatherings but to improve performance on the whole for everyone.

Even public avatars such as Larens, Subcom, etc go below medium rating (usually into poor rating) if this feature was added, 95% of avatars would be blocked by most of the population of VRChat. This would add even more segregation and chaos to the ranking system.

TechnoLogic: indeed, but at the same time it would encourage users to work on lighter avatars. Often, having 2 versions of the avatar is a great way to go, and it's fairly easy to reduce down to "good" or better.

Lhun: I should probably clarify. Now is not the time to add this feature so soon after the ranking system has been implemented. after avatars become more optimized by a bigger population of the game this feature would be a great idea, However until avatars that are available to the newer users of this game become more optimized i would say that this feature should not be implemented. Some time in the near future would be better.
