Room author should be able to join public instances of their room regardless if it is full.

I uploaded my Sword Art Online world, it was made public. I poured my sweat and tears into making this room, and there are 200+ people playing it. However all the rooms are full, meaning I can't go into them to see how people are using my world, where they tend to hang out, etc. World authors should be able to join their own worlds regardless of whether or not it is full. If there is still room for friends to join on friends, then the room author should be allowed to join the instance as well without needing to be friends with someone in the public instance. Would be super useful.

World authors and instance owners can now join a full instance beyond the hard cap
Asovrix
So this has actually been implemented in update 1054, a month ago. :)
Oshino Yoshida
perhaps extend this to allow users to invite the world owner to the instance even if it's full - users might have questions or want to meet the creator - give owners the ability to turn off the requests
FerLuis
any updates on this? It really shouldn't be difficult to implement
Toxic Cookie
All that has to be done to implement this is the addition of a few lines of code. For example: if (Player == WorldAuthor) { Player.JoinWorld(world); } else { if (World.Playercount < World.Capacity) { Player.JoinWorld(world); }
HostileLogOut
ehm? just make a new instance lol. there should be no reason for world author to have a reserved spot.

HostileLogOut: If you read the comments, we have been discussing good ways to have this is as a useful thing. Also, getting feedback from users in your world, especially game worlds, is a big thing. Best way to do this is to actually interact with them in your world. There is also world moderation in public lobbies that can be done by the world author.

HostileLogOut: idk if you read the post but he is talking about "being able to join a public lobby to see how users use his world, and were they hang out the most"
This would be very useful do to the fact that you will be able to know were you need to put more work/pay more attention to so you can have a decent world that meets "Everyone's" wants/needs.

Apologies for the delay on this-- like many smaller feature requests (that we personally like, even!), it got lost in the wash a bit. We're taking another look at this.

Currently we can’t even see how many full instances there are. 🙂

This is still true.
Because of all those random instances with one AFK person in them, etc.
I still think the heuristic for listing instances is not great. Work could be done to show more active instances than it does right now.
If there is a world with 20 instances all with 15/20 people in them. They should all be shown IMO. I think full instances should be indicated too.
Culling the noise of old instances with just 1 or two people in them sounds great.

This is a good idea and something we added to our short list.
