As a virtual event photographer, I understand that many people in the crowd want to support their favorite performers and DJs by spamming snowflakes, hearts, music notes, etc and I can't do anything to stop that, but on camera it can really ruin the perfect shot, especially when a giant snowflake lands on someone's face.
On top of that, hiding a person's avatar does not hide their emojis, and I've actually had to temporarily block a few people sometimes during live events while photographing because of it because people in the front of the crowd near the stage were spamming emojis non-stop and it's not my place to tell them to stop, and blocking someone even temporarily for simply enjoying the event and having fun is honestly something I hate having to do.
Diamonds also aren't exactly pleasing to the eyes either. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, and since there is already an option to hide custom emojis, I think we should have the option to hide the default ones as well.
I attached an example image below.
