Player Moderators

Community player moderators would be a nice additions to combat the amount of hacked clients, crash avatars, and general community based issues with VRChat.
I have over 7500 hours of VRChat playtime and I have never seen a single community mod. I believe that adding a application based, interview, playtime history, closely monitored position on the VRChat team of a "Community Player Moderator" would be beneficial to the games health. The unfortunate truth about VRChat is that the game has a dark side to it. (Players who install clients that allow them to ignore safety settings or destroy a players experience with crashing or removing floors from worlds, etc.)
In most large social games, there are player moderators who can combat these types of players by issuing bans or kicks from worlds. I'm not talking about a single player for 1 world, but a player/community mod who has the permissions to ban players in any world. I'm aware this topic was brought up last year, but I would like to bring more attention to the subject as I believe it would be healthy for the game. Thanks!

If there are player moderators they should be forced to keep it secret and every action they take should be looked at by a staff member of vrchat. I have never seen a game where player mods don't end up either pointless or power abusive, usually the latter.

The game is currently in a REALLY bad state. We need more active moderation, this would be a great solution.

Demirramon: I completely agree with you, I was going to submit this sort of idea but looks like I was beaten, I would say to only allow people who have trusted rank to be able to apply for a player mod status, obiously ever action taken would need to be either Recorded by the mod or logged in a automated logging system so vrc staff can take a look at and see if it was legitamate reason for the ban, as for abusing power, player mods should be able to see other player mods to make it easier to see if another mod is in the lobby, If another mod see's them abusing they should be able to report it live via a Abuse button and have it automatically ping an actual staff member who is in the game.

NEXYonTWITCH: Definetly, if it was well supervised to prevent abuse it would probably improve public instances a ton.
