Oodle compression to enable more avatars in a world, faster avatar/world loads, and smoother performance on lower‑end hardware

Why hasn’t VRChat integrated RAD Game Tools’ Oodle compression yet, and are there plans to do so—given that Oodle Network Compression can shrink packet sizes up to 6:1 with virtually no added latency, while Oodle Data and Texture can cut asset load times from tens of seconds to under one, enabling more avatars in a world, faster avatar/world loads, and smoother performance on lower‑end hardware?

Is this a new thing or an old thing? The paragraph about textures makes it clear for textures they're making them more compressible. VRChat uses user generated content so those users would need to be operating that particular tool.
In a large enough instance my download speed is not really a factor for anything.
Their other product being Bink video doesn't make me feel like their product is really needed in the modern era.
Convincing more people to install av1 support on their windows pc would be a better use of time.
