NSFW Loading Screen Tip Misconception
X3417
Most people who believe NSFW is allowed in VRChat reference the loading screen tip that covers it. This is because it does not clarify that NSFW is not allowed in instances other than Public and Friends+. People then assume it must mean it is allowed in the other instances, which it isn't. So I think it should get a little edit that's uh more clear.
Ill re-write the entire thing for ye! Here's the script, starting from the very top:
THESE ACTIONS CAN LEAD TO BANS!
! NSFW avatars, behavior, or content streamed or shared from ALL worlds (Public, Friends+, Friends, Invite+, Invite), NO exceptions
! NSFW Avatars, behavior, or content in ALL worlds (Public, Friends+, Friends, Invite+, Invite), NO exceptions
- I put the () with all the instances before I clarified "NO exceptions", because if it was after, people may think that the listed instances ARE the exceptions.

You should probably reword this to say
! NSFW Avatars and Worlds.
! NSFW behavior in Public worlds (Pubic, Friends+)
! NSFW behavior streamed or shared from private worlds (Friends, Invite+, Invite)
While NSFW worlds and avatars are banned, as far as I am aware, the community guidelines only specifically target NSFW behavior in public instances and shared media.

YEA BEHAVIOR IS A GREY AREA BUT THE CONTENT IS FOR SURE BAD

From what I could see with pretty old discussions on the VRChat discord (like 2017), VRChat USED to not care about people doing it in Invite+ and Invite but then later changed this to flat out not allow it at all, so this might be why this loading screen tip even exists to begin with.

I think everyone knows you can't stop everyone from doing whatever they want in private instances. I think the better use of time would be having a system that temporarily disables a public avatar if it recieves enough reports until it gets reviewed. NSFW avatars should NOT be public and cloneable. Especially since they can't even enforce the rules to keep kids under 13 out of the game.
