Make the Broom Permanent

Your pushing the envelope again. It is horribly bad practice to give players something and just take it away. The point of items is to have things that can be used anywhere in game and taking something as major as universal flight away is a horribly bad idea. Do not do this and leave the broom in our invitories after months end. Items on aquisition should always be permanent.

Either let us keep it as a free-for-limited-time Halloween item for everyone to keep who played VRChat during this time, or make it purchasable in the shop like any other item, or do what Discord does and let regular users keep it for free during the limited time while giving the option to keep it permanently by getting or having VRC+ (discord does that with nitro to profile decorations) but not requiring VRC+ to use it after obtained.

At the very least make the broom a purchasable item. I’d be more than willing to buy it. It’s such a great item and lots of fun. It’d be such a shame for it to go away until next October. Please keep it!

I genuinely wasn't even aware that it wasn't permanent. It didn't occur to me that they'd do this.

I think, if the concern is about how far and fast the broom can fly, making it more of a hover effect with a seat on it would be permissible outside the month of October, yeah?

Give it a fixed height limit, and cap the speed to running speed, or slightly over. Nothing World Breaking.

~ Raptor ~ I think the problem is twofold:

The broom, as it stands, is pretty, er, aggressive in the kind of flight it enables. So even in worlds where the creator wishes to allow it, it can be a bit of a nuisance.
Disabling movement-modifying props applies to all props. Not just "that one annoying prop".

intent is releasing a fun seasonal gimmick. My suggestion is for a way we could keep the flying broom, whilst having true flight locked to just one month.

It’s not aggressive it’s a perfect speed and height as is. Even in public worlds I haven’t seen that many people using it to the point it could be considered anything even approaching a nuisance. 
So what if they have to disable props? It’s not that big of a deal. Prop aren’t even used that much to begin with, so it’s not really a huge sacrifice to turn them off if necessary. 
Just because VRC seems intent on something doesn’t mean it’s a rigid rule set in stone. I’d say the broom should be an exception and treated like a quality of life improvement.

PVNISHED I extremely beg to differ. I play seated and the thing, once it takes off
 seems to send me flying in some worlds.
Not all worlds, strangely. But I'm surely not the only one who thinks its a little fast and high flying. It's not very elegant, to say none the least.

Every group instance and friends instance Ive been in, with multiple groups, props are out all the time.
Being said, what I was suggesting was just a potential alternative
if
VRCHAT is concerned about letting players fly around at high speed all the time.
 Big if. Call it "covering bases".
