Recently vrchat on linux has been very buggy and sometimes just wont work under proton. It would be very nice to see this fixed or to see a native linux version of vrchat

You can give Proton 10.0-4 a try. (Downgrading Proton may log you out and reset all of your settings and clear recent avatars.)
